A simple, private, offline personal bookkeeping tool
Family Ledger Lite is a fully local personal bookkeeping app. No registration, no internet connection required, and all data stays on your device — nothing is ever uploaded to a server.
Key features include multi-account management, custom categories, income/expense/transfer records, a monthly ledger, statistics and charts, budget management, savings goals, Face ID / Touch ID lock, and CSV data export.
No. The app contains no networking functionality. All data is stored only in local storage on your device. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Use the in-app "Export Data" feature to generate a CSV file, then transfer it via AirDrop, the Files app, or another method. Because your data never passes through a server, we cannot migrate it for you.
By design, the passcode cannot be recovered. If you forget it, you must delete and reinstall the app, which also erases all local data. We recommend keeping your passcode somewhere safe after setting it.
Open the relevant screen and tap to edit. You can customize names, icons, colors, and amounts. All changes take effect immediately and are saved locally.
Full support for English and Simplified Chinese. The app follows your system language automatically, and you can also switch manually in the app.
