Family Ledger Lite Privacy Policy

In one sentence: Family Ledger Lite is a fully local bookkeeping app. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal information or financial data. Everything stays on your own device.

1. Information We Collect

We collect no personal information whatsoever. Specifically:

No account registration or login. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any identity information.
We do not collect device identifiers, location data, contacts, photos, or any system data.
We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs.
The app contains no networking functionality and cannot upload data to any server.

2. Where Your Data Is Stored

Everything you create in the app — including accounts, transactions, categories, budgets, savings goals, and related settings — is stored entirely in local storage on your own device and never leaves it.

Deleting the app deletes this local data. Because we hold no copy of your data, we cannot recover it for you or view it in any way.

3. Biometrics and Passcode

The app offers Face ID, Touch ID, and a numeric passcode to protect your privacy. Biometric verification is handled entirely by iOS (the LocalAuthentication framework). We never access, store, or transmit your face, fingerprint, or passcode data. The numeric passcode is stored only on your device in encrypted form.

4. Data Export

The app lets you export your data as a CSV file. This export happens entirely on your device. You decide where to save or share the generated file. We are not involved in that process and never receive the exported content.

5. Third-Party Sharing

Because we collect no data, there is no sharing, selling, or transferring of information to third parties.

6. Children's Privacy

The app collects no user information, so it does not collect information from children. It is suitable for users of all ages.

7. Your Rights

Because your data is fully under your control, you can at any time:

Edit or delete any bookkeeping data within the app;
Clear all local data at once by deleting the app;
Manage the app's permissions through your system settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we will notify you in the app's release notes or on this page. Since the app collects no data, such changes typically involve only refinements in wording.
